Gift Guide: Doodle Roll Coloring Kit (Review & Giveaway)

"The Doodle Roll is a fun, hands on, creative, on the go coloring kit for children 3+. Create a birthday banner, draw your favorite animals, or play a game, your options are endless!"

Kids love to color and draw, so I knew my kids would really enjoy the Doodle Roll. We received one 4" and one 6" Doodle Roll to review and my girls just think they are so much fun!

We brought these when we went out to eat and my kids were occupied the entire time, it was awesome. My brother who is majoring in art helped a little too!

Why parents love the Doodle Roll:

• Creative. Let's your child's creativeness come to life!
• Compact. Can fit in your purse.
• Portable. Bring with you to the doctors, restaurants, bank, church...
• Inventive. "Art Station To Go" - Everything you need in One Kit!
• Inexpensive
• Easy & Convenient. Pull out the paper and you are ready to go. When you're finished, tear off the paper or roll it back up.
• Available in Two Sizes

I loved the fact that the paper stayed on the table because it was one long attached roll. I am regularly climbing under the table picking up my daughter's dropped papers, so this was fantastic, especially since I am pregnant and my body just doesn't want to bend that far right now!

Another perk to the Doodle Roll was that my girls could share it. My youngest normally always wants what her sister has, so it has been a great way for them to share. The roll is very easy to use. The paper pulls out very easily and stays flat on the table. There is a handy crayon holder that the crayons can be placed back into when your kids are finished. The Doodle Roll is an overall handy crayon kit that makes traveling and play time a lot more fun!

Gift Guide: Bright Starts Pretty in Pink Pull & Play Pig REVIEW

My 5-month old baby is in the stage where she wants to grab everything and put it in her mouth.  It is important that I get her soft, safe, and durable toys for her to play with.

I was sent a Bright Starts Pretty in Pink Pull & Play Pig and think it makes for an excellent holiday gift for babies!  The Pretty in Pink Pull & Play Pig is super cute and fun!  You can pull the pig’s tail to make it wiggle around!  My daughter loves the to feel the vibrations from pulling the tail and is so intrigued by the feature.  I've actually used it a few times to calm her down and get her to stop crying.  She instantly becomes interested in the toy and distracted from the crying.  Something that I like about this toy is that it is soft and plush.  I have seen similar wiggle toys that are made from harder plastic and which seem a little on the dangerous side.  I can just picture damage done from a hard toy like this in my 2-year-old boy's hands--he loves to throw anything that resembles a ball!  The fact that the Bright Starts Pretty in Pink Pull & Play Pig is plush is great!  It makes it much more enjoyable to my baby and the added textures and crinkle ears make the toy completely entertaining for her!

Overall, it is a great toy--cute, safe, fun, and a perfect gift item!

Gift Guide: Arm & Hammer Stocking Stuffers

I'm hoping most of you have all of your holiday shopping done by now.  But, if you are looking for those last minute stocking stuffers--you may want to head over to the toothbrush aisle!  That's right, despite what you first think, toothbrushes make awesome gifts for adults and children!

I have found that the holidays are the perfect time to give new toothbrushes to the family!  Everyone really enjoys getting the new and fun toothbrushes and using them in the new year!  Arm & Hammer toothbrushes have been keeping my family happy over the last few years and we all seem to really enjoy the various toothbrushes they offer for our entire family!

My husband and I are huge fans of the Spinbrushes!  We have been using the Arm & Hammer Spinbrush Sonic Recharges and really love them!  This year I got to try another great toothbrush out...the Spinbrush Pro Whitening.  This Spinbrush Pro Whitening toothbrush "features an innovative whitening bristle system that delivers clinically whiter teeth in 14 days.  The dual-action brush head and whitening bristles gently polish away surface stains as it cleans."  I have really enjoyed using the new battery-powered toothbrush and seeing it brighten my smile!

My son also got to receive a new toothbrush... the boys Spinbrush My Way! Battery-powered Toothbrush!  These toothbrushes are so kid-friendly and after my daughter got hers last year, we couldn't wait for them to come out with the boys edition!  The Spinbrush My Way! toothbrushes come with "more than 140 boy and girl-centric stickers, which can be used to customize the toothbrush’s handle. For boys, stickers feature sports, out-of-this-world robots, and awesome vehicles. Girls’ stickers include fun phrases, loveable animals and princess accessories. In addition, each toothbrush includes a set of letter stickers so that kids can put their name onto the handle as a warning to siblings to keep their hands off."

For maintaning those beautiful smiles over the holidays and beyond...grab some Arm & Hammer toothbrushes!

BUY IT:

All Arm & Hammer Spinbrush products are available nationally at most food and drug chains and mass merchants. You may want to try some of the larger stores like Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, Sam’s Club, BJ’s Wholesale Club, K-Mart, or Rite Aid if you're having trouble finding it.

Jillie Willie is the place to go for adorable, chic gifts!  It is one of my favorite places to get gifts for my girl friends and family!  They are constantly switching up all of their amazing collections, keeping their items new, fresh, and fun!

I was so happy when I got a chance to review the Jillie Willie Aquq Paparazzi Bag.  This tote bag is not only super roomy, but is also super stylish and fun!  The layers of cascading ruffles and big bows make it perfect for fashionistas on the go!  You can take it practically anywhere and carry anything you want inside!   Besides the cute ruffles and gorgeous color, my favorite feature is the strap.  You can tie it to whatever length you want and it is super cute tied as a bow.  I think I know why it is called the Paparazzi bag, because it definitely catches the eyes of others!

Jillie Willie has perfected the ruffle!  Their gorgeous aprons, bags, and leggings (aka Mollies) are fashionably adorned with them!

Gift Guide: Super Duper Publications Educational Games (Review & Giveaway)

"Sharon and Thomas Webber founded Super Duper® Publications in 1986 with two products and two types of stickers.
Sharon started creating easy-to-use therapy materials while working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the public schools. Thomas was a practicing attorney before focusing his talents on developing therapy materials also. Fast forward 25 years - today, we're making hundreds of creative, colorful educational and therapy materials that you and your children will love. (Believe it or not, we have as much fun making them as your kids will have learning with them!)"

Super Duper Publications products are perfect gifts for your kids this year because they are educational and a lot of fun. I had the delight of reviewing three of their products, Jeepers Peepers - The Ask & Answer Question Game, Party Pups - The Game of Prepositional Fun & Anytime Go-Togethers Super Photo Fun Deck.

The first game, Jeepers Peepers is a question game with 101 photo cards in five different categories: Animals, Food, People, Things, and Transportation. The game comes with 6 pairs of Jeepers Peepers glasses, "My Cue Cards", 101 photo cards (4" x 5"), Spinner and bingo chips, and an Instruction booklet.

This game "builds questioning skills, describing skills, categorizing skills, problem solving skills, and more!"

The rules to the game are very simple. Everyone wears a pair of glasses and a card is attached to the top without the person seeing what is on the card. After everyone has their glasses on and a card is placed on their heads, you start asking questions until you figure out what is on your glasses. The glasses are absolutely hilarious, we laughed so hard!

We went around the circle, and the first person to guess the right answer won. The round went for quite a while, so we didn't end up using the spinner and the chips. But, if you plan on playing a few rounds the spinner and chips would be a lot of fun. We had a blast playing this game as adults, so I am sure our kids will love it too when they are a little older.

The second product we reviewed is the Anytime Go-Togethers Super Photo Fun Deck! My daughter loves this set of cards and asks to play with them every night. The deck of cards includes 84 photo card pairs and a handy tin to keep them in. I really have enjoyed the photos on these cards because their is such a variety and the photos are very clear and colorful!

My husband and I play a memory game with my daughter every night, which has been great for her.  She just has so much fun and wants to play it over and over again. I have noticed her vocabulary getting better and she surprises me every time we play because she remembers where the matching card is better than I do! What I really like about this set is that I can switch out the cards every night when we play memory making it feel like a whole new game.

Lastly, we reviewed Party Pups. This game is super simple and is a great way to learn prepositions and creating sentences. "Players take turns choosing preposition cards, identifying the preposition on the cards, and using them in sentences. Players spin the electronic spinner and collect doggie treats which they place on their game boards. The player with the most doggie treats wins!"

Gift Guide: Zatswho Soft Photo Flashcard (Review & Giveaway)

"Our mission is to create simple educational and developmental products that encourage caregiver interaction with children of all abilities to increase learning skills and expand creativity, helping to enhance family relationships as they encourage their children to maximize their potential and create a lasting loving impact."

My girls love to have photos of their grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles, so I was ecstatic to have received a set of Zatswho Soft Photo Flashcards. The set comes with 6 differently colored flexible flashcards, along with a travel tote and game instructions.

Zatswho Flashcards have been great for us because we will spend hours talking about our relatives and places that we have been. This week my brother is getting married, so we have traveled to Canada visiting a lot of relatives. When we get home I am going to replace the old photos with new ones, and I know my girls will love them since we will be away from my side of the family during Christmas!

I really like the fact that you can put anything in these Flashcards. Since my kids are younger I will be using these for family photos, numbers, letters, colors, shapes and familiar objects. Then when they get a little older, I would love to use these for school subjects. If you would like them to be more permanent, you can seal the backs so the photos can't come out.

Educational and Developmental processes and goals promoted using Zatswho® Flashcards

• Bond with a child
• Recognition of Family members
