Wisharoo Park & Capezio Giveaway! Do the Duckle Dance!!

Last month I had the pleasure of telling you about a fun children's show and interactive website, Wisharoo Park.  It is such a quality show with fun characters and a great mix of fun and learning.  It has been a huge hit with all three of my kiddos.  This month, I am so incredibly excited to tell you about an amazing sweepstakes which partners Wisharoo Park up with Capezio (you know them from their great line of dance wear!).  They are giving away 20 Capezio and Wisharoo Prize Packs and 5 $500 dance scholarships.   Amazing prizes, right??

The Duckle Dance Sweepstakes is presented by Capezio and Wisharoo Park and to enter all you need to do is submit a  video of your little one(s) doing the Duckle Dance.  What it the Duckle Dance?  Here is the scoop...

So what is the Duckle Dance?  It’s a little bit of ballet, a little bit of tap, and a whole lot of whatever you want it to be but, most importantly, its moving and grooving family fun for all!   Don’t let the smooth moves and solid steps by the video’s dancers intimidate though as they are trained pros!

Be sure to keep in mind that although our promotional Duckle Dance video teaches specific dance steps, the Duckle Dance Sweepstakes Presented by Capezio and Wisharoo Park is all about fun and dance submissions are completely open to individual interpretation.  In the Duckle Dance no step is wrong, no leap falls short, no tap is off, no plié is blasé and no arabesque is grotesque.  The sky is the limit as Capezio and Wisharoo Park applaud and salute the creativity and individuality expressed by each and every entrant with prize winners to be chosen through a random drawing.

To enter, have fun watching the fun video with your kiddo's and then tape them doing their interpretation of the Duckle Dance!  Once you have your hit video upload it to your Facebook or YouTube account and then submit the link to www.wisharoopark.com/duckledance!  That is all it takes to be entered to win one of those great prizes!  On top of an entry for your child to win you will have the benefit of all the fun you can have doing the Duckle Dance together. Wisharoo Park...Review & Giveaway!

You all know how important I think quality children's programming is.  When the kids watch television I like it to be something of substance while also being something they find enjoyable.  Sometimes it is hard to find this balance though....educational AND appealing can be a bit of a tough one to master but I have found a multimedia line which does it to perfection...Wisharoo Park!

The kids and I were sent some some adorable Wisharoo Park Star finger puppets along with a 2 disc DVD set of the series and all three of the kids LOVED it.  It really is a fun series.  The characters are super engaging and the songs and stories really engrossing.  My boys really seemed to enjoy the characters of Pompy (a skunk rocking a cool Elvis hairdo!) and Monkey B ( a music loving, hat sporting monkey!).  The cast is just full of interesting characters which help drive home the positive messages the show promotes.  The little wish star puppets were tons of fun and the kids have been having a blast with these on their hands...such a cute and imaginative toy!


On top of the great DVD's, Wisharoo Park's website has been a big hit, especially with "W".  He especially likes the game section which includes jigsaw puzzles which he just adores.  We have also enjoyed the Activities section which includes printable sorting games, coloring pages and instructions on how to make a drum.  This is, for sure, a website in which you can feel comfortable with your children navigating.
