Gift Guide: Table Topics Review & GIVEAWAY CLOSED

Table Topics are "a collection of conversation starters meant to spark fun, interesting, and meaningful discussions around the dinner table, at parties, on dates, on road trips-wherever!"  No more struggling to find something good to talk about, the Table Topics cards have clever questions or topics on them to get the conversations rolling!  It's hassel-free entertainment at its best that will have everyone laughing, talking, debating, and engaged!
I was so happy when I got to try out a few of the Table Topics cubes for myself.
Here's what I thought...
This edition is geared for the entire family--young and old!  Granparents and their grandkids, aunts, uncles, siblings, cousins, etc. can all join in on the fun!  The topics are perfect for sparking lively converstation, bringing back fun family memories, and finding out things from family members you never knew!  We have played a little within our own little family but are extremely excited to play it with all of our family over the holidays!
A few sample questions in this edition include:
What music reminds you of childhood?
If your whole family had to move to a new country where would you pick to move to?
What have you lost that you'd like to find?
What cars has your family owned?
These are perfect ice breakers for your parties!  They are a great way to get to know others better, they make hosting parties easy and fun, and are a fantastic way to entertain!  We recently moved and are making lots of new friends.  This game is so great to play with them and is tons of fun!
A few sample questions in this edition include:
What's your favorite candy?
Would you rather sing, paint, write, or sew?
What's your most prized possesion?
What movie made you laugh until you cried?
This edition seemed to have a lot of in-deth and interesting topics as well as humorous ones.  I thought these were the big debate topics.  Lots of stuff about morals, politics, etc.  There were also simple things which were fun and creative to talk about.  The edition was full of interesting topics and fun to play with adults.
A few sample questions from this edition include:
Have you ever pretended to be sick to get out of something?
What would you do if you accidentally opened an embarrassing piece of your neighbor's mail?
If a large company you ordered from online mistakenly sent you an additional item would you return it?
If you had to choose between something illegal but morally correct or legal but immoral which would you pick?

Table Topics cube sets are the perfect way to kick-start your holiday gatherings!  They make great gifts for your holiday hosts and fun entertainment around your own home!
You can also use Table Topics To-Go as stocking stuffers or as take around gifts in your neighborhood, at work, and more!
Celebrities and families all over have been raving about Table Topics!  Martha Stewart loves them, Jennifer Aniston and Ellen love them, and they were just featured in Oprah's O Magazine-her Favorite Things edition!  And I am officially adding myself to the list of lovers as well!  I saw they have a cute date night ideas set that I would love to get for Valentines!

Gift Guide: Continuum games Family Talk & Lumps, the Elf Coal Game (Review & Giveaway) CLOSED

Continuum Games, Inc. is a privately owned company with a mission to bring families together through exciting new game concepts that appeal to all generations of game players.

Continuum Games has everything from party games, conversations games, games for kids to seasonal games and travel games. I really like that their goal is to bring families together, and what better way than with games!

I had the opportunity to review one of Continuum Games best sellers Family Talk and another fun game called Lumps, the Elf Coal Game.
Family Talk is a conversation starter game for the whole family! The game includes 100 question cards and is small enough to bring with you everywhere. Whether you are at home, in the car, at the airport, you can always have a fun time! Although my daughters are a little young, I know I will be using this on every trip we take because I think it's a great way to have fun while getting everyone participating. I can just see us now, piled in the car and whipping out Family Talk! The questions are great, I especially like this one below. I am curious to know what my kids will say!!
Another fun game I got to review is Lumps, the Elf Coal Game. This is another game that is perfect to slip in your purse for those moments you wished you had a fun game to play. Lumps, the Elf Coal Game is a dice game that looks small and simple, but actually has a lot to it. I was amazed at how much information could fit on such a small rule card. I think the lumps of coal are adorable and would make a great stocking stuffer. This game is a ton of fun and will make you want to play over and over!
Here is how you play:
The goal is to score the most points in three rolls by rolling pairs of the same number. Roll a pair of 3s, score 3 points, a pair of 10s scores 10 points. What makes the game unique is that it has four different types of dice and there are few high numbers. On each turn you have to make decisions on which dice to keep and re-roll. Do you play it safe and hold a pair of 4s, or chance it and try for a high pair?
