Aerobie Skylighter...Review & Giveaway!

Early this past Summer, I was introduced to a fun company who sent me what quickly became a favorite toy for the whole family.  The Aerobie Sprint Ring by Aerobie has become a pretty much constant companion for backyard fun and trips to the park and beach.  When my friends at Aerobie contacted me to do a review on another one of their products I couldn't wait!

This time around my family got to try out the Skylighter.  Here is the scoop..

  • Spectacular flights, day or night
  • Powerful LEDs light the entire transluscent disc
  • Amazing long and accurate flights
  • Large 12 inch diameter for unequaled stability
  • Cushioned rim for performance grip and soft catches
  • Long life, replaceable batteries
  • Made in the U.S.A.

Extend the fun of playing with an Aerobie flying disc into the night with the new Skylighter lighted disc. Its bright LEDs illuminate the clear center and the translucent colored rim to make the entire Skylighter appear bright in the night sky. With the patented Aerobie spoiler rim design, the Skylighter is easy for players of all skill levels to throw well. Its narrow profile and large 12 inch (30cm) diameter make the Skylighter fly far and straight.
As is the case with all Aerobie discs, the Skylighter has a rubber rim that provides a performance grip for strong throws and a soft edge to catch. Weight: 175 grams. Available in yellow, red, blue, and green. Ages 10 and up. Takes 2 lithium CR2032 3 volt batteries. Quality made in the U.S.A.

The hours of daylight are already significantly shorter for us here at Reviewed by Mom.  This means we need to get creative with outdoor fun.  The Skylighter is SO much fun.  To be out at night throwing this "space ship" (what the kids have pegged it!) about is active fun for the whole family.  This would be great to bring along on camping trips and bonfires at the beach.  The Skylighter allows you to extend your outdoor, active playtime....perfect!   This one is a little touch for A&W to catch...it is a little large for them to make a good grab for but I think in a year or two they will really catch on.  I think the suggested age could be set at a bit lower....maybe 7?
Once again, Aerobie has delivered great, active fun for the whole family!  I give a big thumbs up to the Aerobie Skylighter and I think it would make an excellent holiday gift idea.  Pick up yours today by finding  a retailer HERE.

I am so pleased to tell you that Aerobie is giving one lucky RBM reader a Skylighter of their own!  Thanks so much to the sponsor and here is how to enter...
