The Tuneables is an innovative video and audio series that teaches the "ABCs" of music learning to preschool children in a fun and engaging way. This foundation focuses on four elements:
Tonal & Rhythm Patterns in Music • The Singing Voice
A Basic Repertoire of Music • Listening Skills
A Basic Repertoire of Music • Listening Skills
When I was younger, I played the piano and the flute, and loved making music on my instruments. Unfortunately, I stopped taking lessons because I didn't fully appreciate it, and now regret not keeping up with it because I have forgotten everything. Now that I have my own kids, I really want them to love music and have it be a big part of their lives.
When I found out about The Tuneables, I was in heaven! The Tuneables is a fantastic educational music DVD and CD series that is meant to teach kids the fundamentals of music in an engaging way! I was so happy to have come across such a great musical learning tool because I simply didn't know where to begin. I wanted to teach my kids the basics of music and The Tuneables: "I Love Music" is just what I was looking for!
If you are worried that you don't know a whole lot about music, The Tuneables DVD and CD series comes with two parent guide books, one for the DVD and one for the CD. I really have enjoyed these guides because they have helped me be a better teacher to my kids.
The characters are absolutely adorable and is probably the reason why I have fallen in love with this series! Mo the violin, Pete the trumpet, Clara the clarinet, Sunny the cymbal, Snare the drum, and Gloria are such a fun, friendly bunch of colorful instruments, my kids can't take their eyes off of them when it's on. Both my daughters love participating and have learned so much through watching and listening to The Tuneables!
