Last year I had the opportunity to do a review for the new toy sensation, Squinkies.  Right away the kids and I were smitten with these adorably, squishy characters.  We played with a variety of cute animals and people in a cupcake house.  It did not matter to the boys that the figures were decidedly geared toward girls.  Now that the boys are "older" kids of five they definitely seem to gravitate toward more boyish themed items which is why I am so pleased our friends at Squinkies have introduced a whole line of Squinkies with boys in mind.


The new line of Squinkies included the bubble packs that are so popular with the girls line but this time the figures include things like sports figures, super heroes, ninjas, cars, aliens and more.  All the things  boys love!  On top of the bubble packs are a bunch of super fun accessories to play with like this cool Skull Cavern Playset....



Included in the set are 6 Squinkies and 4 Magic Coins which work like a gumball machine to dispense your Squinkie Surprize!  The Skull Cavern opens up to reveal a play environment and it holds up to 20 Squinkies (hooray for this!!).   My boys love this playset and I personally think it fills a void  in the market for playhouse type toys for boys.  There are also larger playsets depicting Cars themes and superheroes.  On top of the big playsets there are also a huge variety of little playsets like this one...

There are spaceships, cars, trucks, police cars, army vehicles....the list goes on and on!
