The Weird & Wacky Contraption Lab...R&G!

Both of my boys love science.  In fact, my son "A" has said he wants to be a scientist since he was three.  Last year A asked Santa for the Secret Formula Lab from SmartLab Toys and was delighted when Santa came through.  When I received the opportunity to do a review for SmartLab Toys I did a happy jig.  I just knew my boys would be so excited to check out something else from the makers of their beloved Secret Formula Lab!

I was sent The Weird & Wacky Contraption Lab for review and it is like nothing I had ever seen before.  Here is the scoop...

Standing over two feet tall, the Weird & Wacky Contraption Lab has 60 mix-and-match pieces to build an unlimited amount of contraptions.  Kids can dream up crazy courses, then build and test them using this easy-to-construct Velcro®-like system.  Instructions offer tips and tricks on how to best manipulate the kit’s components.  It guides kids through five sample contraption designs while they learn how to predict the outcome of each.

I love, love, love this toy.  First of all, it is flat out fun.  With all those pieces (60!!) the possibilities are endless and you can create something unique each time.  I also love the creativity factor.  This is an interactive toy that challenges children as they are playing.  A&W just turned 5 and are below the recommended age of 8 but they love The Weird & Wacky Contraption Lab!  With help they could create the contraptions from the booklet and some of their own. I certainly did not mind  helping out because it is just so fun!  It has huge kid appeal as well with silly components like a toilet and a stunt pig.  Silly, creative, fun...what's not to love.  Click HERE to purchase the Weird & Wacky Contraption Lab for just $39.99.
