This book is a gem.  Being a teenager is tough.  I still remember it now all these years later.  There are so many changes, so much pressure....just so many things going on.  It is tough for a kid to handle.  Just for Teenagers covers a lot of ground with the issues most pressing to teens.  Crushes, dealing with cliques, family issues, school issues, peer pressure...all the topics that make being a teen tough are covered.  This is a wonderful book for the teen in your life.  Knowing you are not alone in your struggles can make the road easier to travel.  Grab a copy for the teens you know....

Chicken Soup for the Soul: Country Music...Review & Giveaway!

My take?   Well, I am already a huge fan of the Chicken Soup books but I found this one particularly interesting.  I would not call myself a huge country music fan but I like a lot of the more popular songs and lots of ones which were included in this book.  I found it so interesting to know the story behind the songs and now the songs hold so much more meaning when I hear them.  Each song featured has a photo of the song writer, the story about the song as well as the lyrics.   I am still emotional after reading the story behind "Holes in the Floor of Heaven" and I was surprised to hear that "The Dance" sprung from the movie Peggy Sue Got Married!  This is a great read for any music fan!  You can pick up your copy today on Amazon...
