The Happy Magpie Logo Tee is the perfect maternity shirt because it is long and covers my growing belly! When I am pregnant,  I find that most shirts show my intruding belly button and I don't like it one bit. What I like about this particular shirt is, it is made from super soft, thick organic cotton, so my belly button isn't so visible, which is extremely nice. The tee comes pre-shrunk so I don't have to worry about it shrinking after one wash and they only use non-toxic dyes and inks! Lastly, there is a touch of spandex in the shirt, so it is great for stretching while I continue to grow during these last few months of pregnancy. This is definitely going to be my go-to shirt as the weeks go by!

You all already know how much my family lives in t-shirts.  When we are hanging around the house or running errands we are generally wearing t's.  When the t-shirts are funny, quirky or fun all the better! I got it for husband and it  I had to have it because we are from Portland, Maine!  I am not sure there was an actual bar by this name but I love its' cool, vintage look and feel.  The quality is great and the color has stayed vibrant after many washes.  I would suggest ordering up in size because I found the fit to be a bit small. Chick-E Limited...Review & Giveaway!

 You all know how I am always on the hunt for ways to be comfortable AND fashionable.  I am a stay-at-home mom but when I venture out in public I still want to look nice.  I have been recently been seen out and about in a new shirt that I LOVE courtesy of a site called Chick-E Limited.  I love this company not only because they have created a fashionable piece of clothing that is cute and comfy but because of who they are.  Check this out...

This is a longer fitted t-shirt and it looks great with jeans and with yoga pants when I am faking being a sporty gal!  The color is so vibrant and even after several washings it has not faded or shown any wear.  The site also features some great tanks, relaxed t-shirts and this other one I have my eye on...

The t-shirts they have for men are patriotic and would make an excellent gift (Christmas is coming!)....

I also love the pendants featured in the Craft Klatch section.  I think this one would be great in my fall wardrobe and it is only $10!!

Free Spirt Apparel...Review & Giveaway!

After reading my last post, you know I am a gal who likes to look fashionable as I chase after the kiddos.  I am not talking about a fancy, perfect outfit that costs a bundle and that will make me cry when finger prints get on it but I do like clothes that are fashionable and functional.  When I was given the opportunity from Free Spirit Apparel to check out one of their custom made skirts I couldn't wait!

Ok....if you are thinking modest is code for frumpy you are way off the mark.  Impel has some fabulously stylish items.  What I particularly love are the staple wardrobe pieces like the cami's and t-shirts.  

I love the look of jeans and a t-shirt but I want the t-shirt to be cute....not shapeless and boxy.  I was sent the long sleeve t-shirt from Impel and I love it.  I mean it....I really, really LOVE it!  I have never had a t-shirt fit me so flatteringly.  It has some stretch to it (has a bit of spandex) so it is fitted and it is cute with a women's body in mind...no shapeless frock here!  It is also a bit longer in the sleeves and length which makes it super flattering.  I like this t so much that I will not go back to any other brand....they are that good!  I really want to try their jeans next.  At only $49 they look super stylish and if the quality is on par with my t it will surely make them a favorite too!

My Baby Clothes....Review & Giveaway!

I love shoes.  I love how they can transform an outfit (or attitude!) in an instant.  I used to wear a lot of heels but since running after children is now a big part of my day, I generally gravitate toward a flat shoe.  Chasing after three little ones is not very successful when you are hobbling around in platforms!  In any case, these days I am mostly sporting flats so I always have my radar up for shoes that flat heeled, cute and comfortable.  When I was approached to do a review of the Ballasox by CC Corso Como I did a little happy dance.  I have been spending way too much time in flimsy flip-flops and needed a little mommy boost.  Here is the buzz about Ballasox....
