I know I have mentioned before that W has a nut allergy.   This makes snack foods kind of dicey....we have had to be pretty savvy about reading labels.  When I find a company who I don't have to agonize over their labels you had better believe I breathe a big sigh of relief.  When the company actually makes food our family enjoys I practically do cartwheels.  Enjoy Life Foods is a company I can trust to be nut fee and yummy.  Bonus!

Enjoy Life Foods is a company whose products contain none of the 8 most common allergens (wheat/gluten, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, egg, soy, fish or shellfish).   The plant where all of Enjoy Life Foods are processed is also dedicated solely to being allergen free as well so there is no fear of cross contamination.  Enjoy Life Foods makes a wide variety of foods such as cereals, cookies, granola, trail mixes, snack bars, bagels and more.  This is great news for those limited to what they can eat because of food allergies!   They recently revamped their cookie recipes and we were lucky enough to taste test a few different varieties. 


We were sent Snickerdoodle, Lively Lemon and Double Chocolate Brownie.  It was so sweet when the package arrived because W saw the logo and knew right away these were safe choices for him!  We of course dug right in (this is important business!) and the kids declared each of the three varieties "YUMMY".  I will say this...the cookies are quite moist and dense so they are not a typical "crumbly" cookie.  This did not affect the taste at all or put my kids off but if you have someone particularly sensitive to texture this may be an issue.  While all three varieties were a hit with us, the crowd favorite was Snickerdoodle...double yum on those!
