Compact and lightweight, the Aerobie Sprint ring flies twice as far as conventional flying discs for awesome games of catch. Its smaller size is its only distinction from the otherwise identical Aerobie Pro flying ring, which holds the Guinness World Record for the longest throw. Ideal for those who enjoy the incredible flying performance of Aerobie rings but have a smaller area for play, the Sprint ring is great for backyards, parks, playgrounds, beaches, and camping trips. The ring's soft rubber edge makes it comfortable to catch and fun for throwers of all skill levels. Size: 10 inch diameter. Available in orange, magenta, and yellow. Ages 7 and up. Quality made in the U.S.A.
OK...I am hooked! This is kind of like Frisbee (which I have always loved) but better. A&W are younger than the recommended age of 7 but we have had some wonderful (and active!!) games in the backyard. Frisbees are too awkward for the boys to catch because of their small hands but the Sprint Ring is easy for them to catch because of the ring design and its' light weight. I had attempted Frisbee games with them in the past but they got easily frustrated because it was too difficult for them to catch....the Sprint Ring is much more manageable for them making it more fun which results in them playing for longer stretches. Now, for you grownups....the Aerobie can really move!! In fact, as mentioned above, the Sprints "big brother" accomplished a throw of a quarter of a mile....crazy!!
The Aerobie Sprint is fun for the entire family. We enjoy it in our own backyard but it is easily portable for trips to the park and beach. What a wonderfully active way for the family to spend time together! Something I also think is pretty great about the Aerobie Sprint is that you can even have it imprinted with a custom logo! What a great item for camps, reunions and company promotions. These would make for a fun "swag bag" goodie that is for sure! You can't beat the price either at around $7 each....well worth it!
I want to add here that I started this post earlier in the day and stopped for trip to the park with the kids. My son, A, insisted on bringing the Aerobie and we spent more than 1/2 an hour playing in an open area. It was great fun and kids continually jumped in to the join the game because we were having so much fun with the Aerobie! This one is a hit!!! Pick up yours today by clicking here to find a retailer.
