It seems like boys are instantly drawn to Star Wars toys. I had the opportunity to receive one of Uncle Milton's new Luke Skywalker Lightsaber Room Lights and I know this item would make a great holiday gift. This specific Lightsaber mounts to the wall and has a remote control that kids can use to turn it on and off. The Lightsabe Room Lights come in a variety of editions; this Luke Skywalker one we got glows with a green blade! There is some slight construction needed for the piece which an adult can help with, but which is also a great learning experience for kids. As the Uncle Milton website says, "they can learn about the electronics that make a lightsaber work." Oh and I forgot to mention that the lightsaber also features some cool sound effects to make the item complete.
