The minute the snow begins melting my mind starts drifting to summer. We Mainers simply can’t help ourselves…after our long winters we are ready for some fun in the sun. I love taking the kids to the beach even though, with three little ones, the process can be a little less than relaxing. After lugging all the gear (towels, blanket, cooler, toys, beach umbrella) and children, it is time to set up. Spread out enormous blanket, dump out toys and set up umbrella and then proceed to chase said beach umbrella down the shore before it knocks down an unsuspecting child.
