This school year, Totino’s is advocating for learning through fun with its “Learn a Ton When School is Fun” sweepstakes, which will award four lucky schools $25,000 each in the form of 250,000 Bonus Box Tops for Education.
“We see the correlation between fun and learning every day through our in-school tutoring programs and sponsored field trips,” said Gerald Richards, CEO of 826 National – a nationally-recognized nonprofit whose model encourages collaboration and creativity in the learning process – and spokesperson for Totino’s. “826 National and Totino’s share the goal of helping to make America’s schools and the learning process more engaging. Programs like Box Tops for Education can help bring a lot of excitement into schools and 826 National is thrilled to join in this effort.”
Through the Box Tops for Education (BTFE) program, Totino’s is giving away one million Bonus Box Tops this school year with its “Learn a Ton When School is Fun” sweepstakes, bringing four fun projects to life across the country. BTFE has helped America’s schools earn more than $400 million in funding since its founding in 1996 and through the Totino’s sweeps, the support continues:
· Now through October 3, 2011, consumers can visit www.BTFE.com/Totinos to enter daily for the chance to win 250,000 Bonus Box Tops, the equivalent of $25,000, for the school of their choice.
· The program will re-launch during the return-to-school timeframe in early 2012 to award the remaining 500,000 Bonus Box Tops to two more schools.
· Totino’s is encouraging winners to use their funds to support enriching school activities, such as music programs, afterschool activities, field trips and art classes.
· As added motivation, Totino’s will be offering double Box Tops on specially marked packages of Totino’s® Pizza Rolls® and Party Pizza® product
How great is this?? In our home we clip box tops even though A,W & R are not yet in school. We either drop them off at the local school or put them in the receptacle our local library has.
